Photography is my medium. Art is the intention.

I'm an Australian fine-art photographer, visual storyteller and creative practitioner - drawn to bold contrasts, unexpected perspectives and images that make you stop and maybe look twice.

My work moves between striking black-and-white photography, aerial perspectives and expressive photographic art.

I'm unapologetic about my approach to image-making, particularly in black and white, where light, shadow and contrast become tools for artistic expression. Using digital darkroom techniques, I push my images beyond the literal capture to create something more evocative, dramatic and distinctly my own. It's a philosophy carried forward from my days in the traditional darkroom, where the art didn't end when the shutter closed.

My colour work takes a different approach — favouring considered tones, natural colour and strong contrast over high levels of saturation. Different treatments, same intention: to create images with impact, character and feeling.

My journey began with film, long before digital imaging opened up a whole new world of creative possibilities. The tools have changed, but the fascination remains: the power of an image to make us feel something, see something differently or connect with a moment beyond its frame.

Photography, for me, is about more than what you see. It's about what stays with you.
